Arsenal set to land the Japanese Ronaldo
Arsenal Football Club are expected to sign Ryo Miyaichi in December.
The 17-year-old was on trial at the Gunners this summer, and he impressed in a match against Boreham Wood under the gaze of Arsene Wenger in August.
According to Yomiuri Shimbun the Emirates Stadium club have now offered the teenage winger a five-year deal, despite him currently being sidelined with a broken leg.
Miyaichi, a Japan Under-19 international, is being tipped to put pen-to-paper on a deal with the Premier League side on December 14 when he turns 18-years-old.
The youngster stands at 6 foot tall and is said to be blessed with great pace and technique, which has led to comparisons with Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo.
