Frank Lampard will be fit to face West Ham United Football Club on Saturday.

The former Hammers star underwent surgery to fix a hernia problem just two weeks ago, sparking fears he was set for a spell on the sidelines.

However, Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that Lampard will be back to face Avram Grant’s side, who have lost all their three Premier League fixtures this season.

"For sure, Frank will be fit for the West Ham game,” the Italian told the Daily Star Sunday. "After the Stoke City game, Frank was in a lot of pain. So he decided, ¬after talking to the club doctor, to resolve and remove the problem immediately."
