Everton Football Club’s James Vaughan is a wanted man.

The 22-year-old has had horrific luck with injuries during his career at Goodison Park, and David Moyes was prepared to let him leave for a fresh start in the summer.

Whilst no move materialised despite much speculation, the Toffees are now looking to offload Vaughan on a temporary basis when the loan window opens on Tuesday.

The Daily Mirror claim Championship duo Burnley and Sheffield United are tracking the striker, although his £15,000 weekly wage could scupper the move.
