Gallas in frame to begin Tottenham Hotspur spell
William Gallas is likely to debut for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club on Saturday.
The France international was a controversial summer signing for Spurs, who took him to White Hart Lane following the expiry of his contract at rivals Arsenal.
Due to injuries to Michael Dawson, Ledley King and, of course, Jonathan Woodgate, Gallas is now being tipped to debut at West Bromwich Albion this weekend.
The 33-year-old played 70 minutes for the reserves this week, and coach Tim Sherwood was certainly impressed with the performance of the defender.
"It was William's first game for a while,” he said. "He showed how he squeezes play up the pitch, how he uses his body and he manages the game superbly."
