James Vaughan has sealed a loan move to Crystal Palace Football Club.

The 22-year-old, who has suffered rotten luck with injuries during his fledgling career, is down the pecking order for places in David Moyes’ side at Everton.

It emerged on Wednesday that George Burley was keen to add the striker to his options at Selhurst Park, and the move has now been confirmed.

Vaughan will spend at least three months on loan with the Eagles, and he could make his debut in the Championship against Reading this weekend.
