Adriano has denied reports he is unhappy at Roma.

The former Internazionale forward has spent the past two years in his homeland of Brazil, but returned to Italy when he penned a three-year deal with the Giallorossi in the summer.

Adriano suffered off-field problems towards the end of his previous spell in Serie A, and it has been reported that he is struggling to settle in the capital.

However, the 28-year-old has hit back at these suggestions, insisting he is happy at Roma and revealing his fears that the rumours could damage his relationship with supporters.

"I am not unhappy at Roma like I heard it being said in some places,” he told Extra. "There are some things that I really don't want to hear about because I am under contract for three years.

“I am vey happy. The lies that have been said in the last few days can put my relationship with the supporters into problems and I don't want that to happen."
