Phil Brown believes Jussi Jaaskelainen was the main reason for Hull City Football Club’s third successive defeat in the Premier League.
The Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper was the platform for Gary Megson’s men winning 1-0 at the KC Stadium, to inflict a third loss on the bounce for the Tigers.
"Their goalkeeper stood up to everything that we threw at him, but not just the goalkeeper, obviously the team," Brown told Sky Sports. "They set out to spoil it to a certain extent and we didn't get our passing game going in the first half.
"In the second half we started playing, the atmosphere in the stadium was building up, and if you analyse their goal it should never have been given - there were a couple of fouls just before.
"A day where it's going for you, you'll get that slice of luck but obviously today we didn't. Again, the difference between the two teams was the goalkeeper and he's pulled off a fantastic save - well, two or three fantastic saves - towards the end and kept a clean sheet and he deserved it."
