Is Newcastle's Williamson good enough for Spurs?

Spurs are expected to bid for Newcastle defender Mike Williamson in the next transfer window.

Tottenham's defence has been suspect at times this season and it is believed that the north London club will atempt to strengthen their squad in this department in January.

I Know what you mean Mark, we do need some steel at the back and quick too. I can see us leaking goals at blackpool, newcastle, west brom not to mention the so called top 3. Good going forward though. Dawson has got to come back and defoe but i would go shopping in the Bundesliga, some great defenders there.

Never heard of him, don't know how good he is. He might be a good future english prospect which I like but we need a quality centre half now and waiting a few years to develop someone isn't the solution

Come on Tom, you know as well as i do although toons are playeing well if a player wants to go and the money's there then they will go no two ways about it, same with us for Gareth bale.

theres no chance of spurs gettin him he is settled at newcastle and playin well we must b doin summit rite clubs r after our players at mo but no club has a chqnce ov gettin our players
