Cesc Fabregas will not leave Arsenal Football Club for Internazionale, despite reports in Italy claiming Rafael Benitez is plotting a £43million bid.

Throughout last summer the Spanish international was expected to join Barcelona, his former club, after he revealed his desire to move to the Camp Nou.

Arsene Wenger, though, simply refused to entertain the idea, and the midfielder remained at the Emirates Stadium where he continues to be treated like a hero.

Reports in Italy have claimed Inter have now set their sights on Fabregas, with a summer offer of £43million being cited by Itasportpress.it.

However, Gunners fans won’t be losing sleep over this link: if the 23-year-old does leave the Gunners, be it next summer or in five years, it will only ever be for Barca.
