Grayson: Becchio owes Leeds United
09:00 AM 06 December, 2010
Simon Grayson believes Luciano Becchio owes a debt of loyalty to Leeds United Football Club.

The Argentine forward has been with the Whites since 2008, and he has become something of a hero amongst fans due to his forty league goals since his arrival.

However, Becchio is out of contract in the summer, and if he doesn’t agree fresh terms beforehand, he could leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Elland Road boss Grayson, though, believes the 26-year-old former Merida man should show the club some loyalty and agree a new deal to extend his stay.

"We plucked him from the third division of the Spanish League and helped to make him a better player so you hope for some loyalty from players in return,” he said.
