Baggies must resist Liverpool’s Brunt interest
Paul Scharner has urged West Bromwich Albion Football Club to resist selling Chris Brunt.
Northern Ireland international Brunt has been the pick of the Albion players this season, as they make a mockery of their pre-season status as relegation favourites.
Liverpool are said to be lining up an offer of £7million for the midfielder, but Scharner insists the Baggies need to keep the squad together to ensure Premier League survival.
"It looks like we can stay up,” said the Austrian. “I never got relegated with Wigan Athletic and that's why I came to West Bromwich Albion, to help them survive.
"That's the main target and we're on course at the moment. But, if we want to reach our targets, it is important that we all stay together until the end of the season."
