Tottenham Hotspur want their own Theo

Arsenal’s Walcott may not be the only big-name Theo plying his trade in North London soon, as Tottenham Hotspur line up a bid for Twente’s Janssen.

Harry Redknapp believes his side have a genuine chance of landing the Premier League title this season, which would be their first such success since 1961.

The Spurs manager admits he needs to add one or two players to his squad in the New Year, and reports claim he has set his sights on Janssen.

The 29-year-old has scored six goals in fifteen league games in the Dutch league this season, and is rated by Twente in the region of £4million.

The midfielder would be ineligible for the UEFA Champions League, having already appeared in the competition five times this season, including twice against Redknapp’s side.

Don't believe a word of it. Surely Harry has not gone that mad to want another non descript striker! The team need some one of real quality not another bloody Pavluchenko!

what about Milan Beldj from the same club as luka modric came from so there would be another modric type player younger so abit of freshness erm Andreas Beck who could be the right back for tottenham and maybe push Corluka in central defence to cover ledley king or sell Corluka maybe give sandro a few games to get him playing time and fitness cause i think he's good signing and understudy to Gomes or maybe sell Gomes and bring in David Ospina plays for nice in france
