West Ham United keen to offload Behrami
04:30 PM 30 December, 2010
West Ham United Football Club are seeking a buyer for Valon Behrami.

Avram Grant is expected to be one of the busiest managers in the Premier League in January, as he looks to lead the Hammers from relegation trouble.

The Upton Park owners are likely to hand their manager a small budget to play with, but this could be boosted if he can offload from his existing squad.

And according to reports, Grant is seeking a buyer for Switzerland international Behrami, who was left out of the squad for the 1-1 draw with Everton on Tuesday.

The former Lazio midfielder has in the past been linked with a return to Italy, and Fiorentina are the latest club said to be interested in securing his signature.

The trouble with Grant is he wants to get rid of the wrong players. Spector, Kovac, Boa Morte, Carlton Cole, Faubert, Macarthy, should all be out of there. Barrera and Reid could join them as new recruits they are hopeless in this league. And looking at forwards like Keane and Yakubu will be another costly excrcise in waste, neither are prolific in front of goal and are no better than Cole, and the Yak is lazy. Everton have a forward crisis and want to get rid of Yak and Keane cant get in the spuds side because he cant score. And neither are a bargain at 7mil plus and spuds want a bonus in hammers stay up - let them keep this rubbish on his 65k a week.
