Arsenal Football Club’s Bacary Sagna has been ruled out until December.

The France international fullback was stretchered off with an ankle injury during the 2-0 home defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday, and he will be out for around three weeks.

"Yes, it is serious," Arsene Wenger told the official club website.

"He will be out for a few weeks, he has an injured ankle."
