Harry Redknapp is a huge fan of the player he signed during his time at Portsmouth, when he splashed out a bargain £3.5million to land the midfielder from Hajduk Split.

Pompey are bracing themselves for contact from their former manager when the January window opens, and reports suggest his top target will be Kranjcar.

The Daily Star Sunday claim the White Hart Lane manager will table an offer of £12million for the 24-year-old, who has in the past been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool.
