Posh director reveals Villa's bid for Lewis was rejected
Posh director of football Barry Fry has revealed that Aston Villa made a derisory bid for keeper Joe Lewis, which has been rejected.
Fry said the offer was less than the £400k that Peterborough paid Norwich for the England Under-21 keeper back in January 2008.
Since then, two other Premier League clubs have made offers, but Lewis will stay at London Road unless a more substantial bid is received.
