Northampton have completed the signing of New Zealand-born midfielder Michael Built on an 18-month deal.

Cobblers boss Ian Sampson said: "Michael is a talent.

"He has been with us for more than a year and now he has reached the age of 18 and we have received his international clearance we are able to sign him on a professional contract.

"He is a good player.

"He plays wide on the right hand side of midfield and he is one we are excited about.

"It is always rewarding when a young player signs a professional deal and we are very pleased to have secured Michael's services."
