Chelsea will block Jose’s Drogba bid
The Sunday Mirror have echoed Fans FC’s claims that Jose Mourinho wants to take Didier Drogba from Chelsea Football Club before the end of the month.
The Real Madrid coach is desperate to sign a frontman this month due to the injury to Gonzalo Higuain, and as we reported last week, he is believed to be interested Drogba.
The Special One signed the African ace for the Blues back in the summer of 2004, when Roman Abramovich sanctioned his £24million arrival from Marseille.
However, it is understood there is no way Carlo Ancelotti will consider letting the 32-year-old leave, and will make this perfectly clear should Mourinho pick up the phone.
And even the prospect of a return to Stamford Bridge for France international Lassana Diarra, 25, will not be enough to sway the Italian coach.
