Liverpool Football Club are refusing to let Danny Wilson leave on loan.

The teenager moved to Anfield from Rangers in the summer, but he has been unable to force his way into regular first team contention.

It was reported by the Daily Record that Celtic were keen to take Wilson back to Glasgow this month, in a loan deal for the rest of the season.

However, it is understood that Kenny Dalglish has told the defender that he wants him to remain on Merseyside and challenge for a place in the starting eleven.
