Beattie vows to play his part for Blackpool
James Beattie has vowed to play his part in Blackpool Football Club’s survival bid.
The 32-year-old ended a disappointing spell with Rangers last month, when he signed a loan deal with the Tangerines for the rest of the season.
Ian Holloway’s men are currently just two points above the relegation zone in the Premier League, but given the chance, Beattie is sure he can contribute to their survival.
"I'm delighted to be at Blackpool," he said. "I haven't really played as much football lately as I'd have liked, but I've kept myself in good shape.
"I just want to go out and show the lads what I'm capable of and chip in with some goals and that will keep us in this division."
