Diego Alves insists he is fully focused on life at Almeria.

The Brazilian goalkeeper has recently been linked with summer moves to Arsenal and Valencia, both of whom are said to be on the lookout for a new number one.

However, whilst he admits he is flattered by the speculation, 25-year-old Alves insists he is happy with life at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos.

“It is a compliment to be spoke about this way, but for now I’m focused on Almeria,” he said. "What I care about now is doing things right, but I just think of Almeria as my team.”

How much Arsene Wenger will press for a new shot-stopper in the summer is open to debate, meanwhile, following the increasingly impressive shows from Wojciech Szczesny.
