Lescott happy with Manchester City pressure
Joleon Lescott is happy to play in such high-pressure times at Manchester City Football Club.
Roberto Mancini has bemoaned the amount of games the Blues have to play in the coming weeks, as they look to progress in three competitions.
A place in the top four of the Premier League is a must for the big-spending Eastlands outfit, who are also still involved in the FA Cup and the UEFA Europa League.
And Lescott insists he is happy to be gunning for glory on these fronts, and he would be quite prepared to line up in every game for the remainder of the campaign.
"We want to play in these games,” he said. "We want to win every game in every competition. Of course it is possible to keep pushing for the top four and win trophies.
“If you are at the top or going to be one of the best, you will reach semi-finals and quarter-finals, which just means more games. It is going to be a long season but that is how we want it."
