Reports in Germany claim Dalglish is interested in signing 26-year-old Brazilian playmaker Diego, who is currently plying his trade at Wolfsburg.

It is believed the Premier League giants are willing to pay around £13million for the former Juventus ace, who only joined his current employers last summer.
