Martin Skrtel has no interest in leaving Liverpool Football Club.

The Slovakian international has been an ever present for the Reds this season, but he has been linked with a move to German club Hamburg.

However, Skrtel has wasted no time in dismissing such speculation, and the defender can see himself staying at Anfield for some time to come.

“I signed a new contract which will expire in 2014 because I am happy and well, I’m glad to be part of the one of the biggest clubs in the world,” he told TMW.

“I like everything here; the fans and the city. Liverpool is a great club, so if they are happy with my work I will continue to play here for a long time.”
