Emmanuel Eboue has been linked with a sensational move to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Ivory Coast international has been plying his trade in England since 2005, but he has not always been a popular figure amongst the Arsenal fans.

Even so, the Emirates Stadium faithful will be surprised to learn that Harry Redknapp wants the 27-year-old, according to reports in The Mirror.

Eboue, who can play in a variety of positions, has made almost 130 Premier League appearances for Arsene Wenger, who sees him as a useful member of his squad.

But it is believed Redknapp will try and lure the African to White Hart Lane in the summer, despite the player signing a long-term deal just last year.
