Nolan lined up to replace Parker at West Ham United
07:00 PM 27 April, 2011
Kevin Nolan has been earmarked for a move to West Ham United Football Club.

Even if the Hammers secure their place in the Premier League for next season, Avram Grant has a task on his hands to persuade Scott Parker to stay.

The England international is said to once more be a target for Tottenham Hotspur, who are prepared to pay as much as £10million for the 30-year-old.

It is believed if United do lose their inspirational midfielder, they will look to replace him with 28-year-old Newcastle United star Nolan.

The former Bolton Wanderers man has two years left on his contract at St James Park, and it is unlikely the Magpies would consider offloading him.

Furthermore, the Merseyside-born player would be reluctant to move to Upton Park if they do slip into the Championship after a disastrous campaign.
