Grayson assured of Leeds United position
Simon Grayson feels his position at Leeds United Football Club is secure.
The Whites were promoted to the Championship last term, and this campaign has seen them challenge for a place in the Premier League.
However, a recent run of poor form has seen them slip out of the play-offs places, and this has led to speculation surrounding Grayson’s future.
But the Elland Road chief has revealed he has discussed the situation with chairman Ken Bates, who has assured him of his position for the long-term.
“I've spoken to the chairman and we've progressed as a football club since I came here," he told the Yorkshire Evening Post. "He said we've got a long-term relationship.
"We've had a fantastic season so far and I'm not being big-headed but I've got no reason to think I'll lose my job if we don't get promoted.”
