Al Habsi confident of Wigan Athletic survival
Ali Al Habsi remains confident Wigan Athletic Football Club will avoid relegation.
The Latics were held to a 1-1 draw against Everton at the weekend, a result which sees them remain in the bottom three of the Premier League.
Roberto Martinez’s men now play Aston Villa (a), West Ham United (h) and then Stoke City (a) in their remaining three fixtures of the season.
And Al Habsi, who has impressed during his loan stay from Bolton Wanderers, believes Wigan can get enough points to remain in the top flight.
“We know we have three other games,” he said. "They are going to be tough but we have to stay relaxed and think carefully about the next game against Aston Villa.
"I think the games against Villa and West Ham are the biggest games of the season. Of course we can do it. We have confidence and good players in the team."
