Aston Villa star: O'Neill is DESPERATE for top-four finish
Martin O'Neill is DESPERATE to steer Aston Villa Football Club into the UEFA Champions League.
That is the verdict of Villa fullback Luke Young, who has played a key role in taking the Midlands side above Arsenal and into fourth place in the Premier League table.
"We are going for it. The manager has made it clear to us he is desperate to get into the top four and he tells us every game is big no matter who it is against," Young told the Birmingham Mail.
"We've beaten Arsenal and we've got a great result against United so perhaps we feel like we can go on and do it now. When we went to Chelsea we didn't give a good account of ourselves.
"But the Arsenal game gave us a bit of confidence and after this we can take a little bit more again. Hopefully they see the way we are playing and there is a bit of a fear factor there at the moment.
"To do it (finish fourth) would be incredible but there is a long way to go. We are just working really hard every week and every game we go into we are trying to win."
