Liverpool Football Club have set their sights on Mathias Jorgensen.

The 18-year-old FC Copenhagen star is rated as one of the best talents to emerge from Denmark in recent years, and he has already been linked with Danish compatriot Daniel Agger.

Of course, Agger has been a huge success in England since his move to Anfield, and it is being reported that Rafael Benitez wants to add Jorgensen to his Reds ranks in the New Year.

Capped at every level from Under-16 to the full national squad, the 6ft 3in ace has previously trained with Arsenal and Newcastle United, yet his future could well be on Merseyside.
