Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have released Jonathan Woodgate.
The England international joined from Middlesbrough in 2008, in a transfer which cost the White Hart Lane club a fee of £8million.
However, a succession of injury problems has seen him make just 49 Premier League starts for the Londoners, and he made just one appearance last season.
Despite talk of a pay-as-you-play deal for Woodgate, Spurs have decided to release him at the end of his contract this summer.
