Marouane Fellaini is said to be a possibility for Manchester United Football Club.

Sir Alex Ferguson is understood to be a big fan of the Belgian international, who has proven his Premier League class since joining Everton for £15million in 2008.

However, the midfielder has expressed he is ready to move on from Goodison Park, as he feels the time is right for him to be challenging for the top honours in the game.

“One thing is certain, I want to play in a team that wins trophies and plays in the UEFA Champions League. But Everton is a team below the top level,” he told the News of the World.

As Ferguson looks to sign a new midfield player during the summer, it is believed he has pencilled the 23-year-old Fellaini in as a potential option.

David Moyes would be reluctant to lose one of his star players ahead of the new season, but he may need to do just that in order to raise funds for his own shopping spree.
