West Bromwich Albion Football Club are confident of keeping Peter Odemwingie.

The Nigerian international made a huge impact at the Hawthorns during his debut season in England, and this has resulted in reported interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.

However, Odemwingie has two years left on his contract at Hawthorns, and the Baggies are confident the forward will still be their player when the new season begins.

"I want to make it clear that Peter Odemwingie is not for sale and remains a key member of our squad,” technical director Dan Ashworth told the Birmingham Mail.
