Millwall Football Club have handed a one-year contract to Jordan Stewart.

The 29-year-old former Leicester City and Watford star has just spent a year in Greece, where he made fourteen league appearances for Skoda Xanthi.

Whilst Stewart has no regrets about his overseas adventure, he is glad to be back in England and is looking forward to helping the Lions in the Championship this term.

"I had always wanted to play abroad which is why I took the opportunity to go to Greece, but after a year out there I felt it was the right time to come back to this country,” he said.

"The Greek league isn't as intense as the Championship and Millwall is a big club with a great fan base so I'm really looking forward to playing here."
