Brad Friedel could yet extend his stay at Aston Villa Football Club.

Despite being 38-years-old at the end of the season, the American goalkeeper has not ruled out the possibility of negotiating a new deal with Villa when his current one expires in 2011.

"I've got two-and-a-half years on my contract with Villa," Friedel said in the Daily Express.

"I will serve that out and then see what happens."
