Danny Welbeck is eager to get a fresh chance at Manchester United Football Club.

The 20-year-old was loaned out to Sunderland last season, but Sir Alex Ferguson has indicated the youngster will be part of his plans at Old Trafford this term.

And despite facing competition for places from Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez, Dimitar Berbatov, Michael Owen and Federico Macheda, Welbeck is determined to grab his chance.

“My aim is to get games with United now,” said the striker. “I think I can break through if I get my opportunity and I am going to give it the best shot I can.”
