Alberto Aquilani could be offered a shock move to Chelsea Football Club.

The Italian international joined Liverpool in the summer of 2009, but injuries and a lack of form resulted in him having a disappointing debut campaign in England.

Aquilani found something like his best form during a loan stint at Juventus last term, but despite interest from a host of Serie A clubs, he has returned to Anfield.

However, it is though Andre Villas-Boas has added the 27-year-old to his wanted list at Stamford Bridge, and could make a loan bid for his signature as he looks to bolster his midfield.
