Kieron Dyer has been linked with a shock return to Ipswich Town Football Club in January.

The England international started his career at Portman Road, where he earned a reputation as one of the most exciting players in the country before he left for Newcastle United.

He endured an injury-plagued time at St James Park and has continued in the same way at West Ham United, for whom he hasn't played foe since August of last year.

Dyer is battling back to fitness following his broken leg, and it is being reported that the Hammers may send the 29-year-old to his former club in January to regain match fitness during a loan spell.
