Benjani rejects Rovers for Portsmouth return
Benjani has signed a one-year contract with Portsmouth Football Club.
The Zimbabwean international scored three goals in 21 appearances for Blackburn Rovers last season, but his contract expired at the end of the campaign.
Steve Kean was willing to keep the 33-year-old and offered him a new contract, but the striker has turned his back on the Lancashire side in favour of a move to Fratton Park.
Benjani first made his name in England during his previous spell at Pompey, scoring nineteen goals in 77 games for the club before moving to Manchester City in 2008.
