West Bromwich Albion expecting Gera impact
10:30 AM 04 September, 2011
West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson is expecting a lot from Zoltan Gera this season.

The Hungarian international was out of contract at Fulham this summer, and although the Londoners wanted to keep him, he decided to return to his previous club.

Gera is set to play a key role for the Baggies as they look to build on their progress of last season, and Hodgson is certainly expecting a big impact from the 32-year-old.

“He wanted to come and join us, so it was a big signing,” he told the official club website. "Zoltan is one of the big signings of this transfer window for me and I expect big things from him.”
