Adebayor patient over Tottenham Hotspur future
10:00 AM 14 September, 2011
Now is not the time to ponder a permanent move to Tottenham Hotspur, says Emmanuel Adebayor.

The former Arsenal forward has fallen well down the pecking order at Manchester City, who have sent him on loan to White Hart Lane for the remainder of the season.

Adebayor began his time at Spurs with a debut goal in the 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers, but talk of a permanent move to Spurs is a little premature.

"I am here (Tottenham) for a season, and at the end of the season I will still have two more years left of my contract,” he said. "It's too far away to start thinking about the future.

“Let's maybe have a chance to talk in April or May and I will decide on my career. At the end of the season I will see what I can do. But what is important to me now is to help this team.”
