Lars Jacobsen has snubbed a move to Leeds United Football Club.
The former Everton and Blackburn Rovers fullback was available on a free transfer this summer, having left West Ham United following their relegation last season.
Simon Grayson was keen to offer the 31-year-old Dane an extended stay in England at Elland Road, as he looks to build a side capable of launching a promotion bid.
However, Jacobsen has decided against staying in the Championship, and he has instead decided to rejoin former club Copenhagen on a short-term deal which will be reviewed in January.
