Roberto Mancini believes Mario Balotelli can become one of the best players in the world.

The Manchester City coach made signing his former Internazionale charge one of his top targets when he arrived in England, and he did so last summer.

Balotelli has shown glimpses of brilliance during his time at the Etihad Stadium, and Mancini believes his Italian striker, 21, can become a true great.

“Mario has everything,” he said. “He has the technical ability. He is strong. He shoots very well. He can score with his head. He needs time but he can become one of the top players.”
