Cotterill confirmed at Nottingham Forest
Steve Cotterill has been confirmed as the new boss of Nottingham Forest.
It was only in the summer when Steve McClaren was installed as the coach of the City Ground club, but this relationship was a short one as he resigned earlier this month.
Forest have now turned to Portsmouth boss Cotterill, a former Notts County manager, who has agreed a three-and-a-half year contract with the Reds.
"I'm very excited - it's a wonderful football club which has great traditions which should be embraced," he told Forest's official website.
"I'm really looking forward to getting to work on the training pitch with the players. I'm passionate, I want us to play good football and play on the front foot.
"I think there are some very talented players in the dressing room and we'll be looking only enhance that and do well with them.”
