Nicolas Anelka has been linked with a shock move to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

The French striker is out of contract at Chelsea in the summer, and Andre Villas-Boas feels he will then look to leave Stamford Bridge for a fresh challenge.

According to Eye Football, though, that challenge could come sooner than expected, with Tottenham preparing an offer of £6million in the New Year.

Despite these claims, it would be a surprise if the 32-year-old would leave the Blues for Spurs, as it is believed the striker has set his sights on a move abroad.
