Keith Andrews has indicated he would be willing to stay at Ipswich Town Football Club.

The Republic of Ireland international is currently on loan at the Championship side, after falling down the pecking order at Blackburn Rovers under Steve Kean.

Andrews is due back at Ewood Park in the New Year, but he has hinted he would welcome the opportunity to make the move to Portman Road permanent.

“I just want to enjoy my football which I am at the moment,” the 31-year-old told the Green ‘Un. “For me, it is not all about being in the Premier League in January."
