Martin O’Neill insists Henrik Larsson is not heading to Aston Villa Football Club.

The Villa boss knows the Swedish legend as well as anyone due to their time together at Celtic, and the pair have been linked together again as the 37-year-old looks for a new club.

However, when asked by Sky Sports if there was any truth in the reports linking Larsson with a move to the Premier League club, O’Neill said: “There’s not a scrap of truth in it.”
