Asamoah Gyan insists he has no regrets about leaving Sunderland on loan.
The Ghanaian international enjoyed a fine World Cup Finals for his country in 2010, which saw him move to the Black Cats for a club record £13million.
However, Gyan stunned Steve Bruce this summer by agreeing a loan deal to United Arab Emirates club Al-Ain in August, but the striker has no regrets.
“I'm really enjoying myself. It's really working out well for me and I'm really happy for now,” he told The Independent. "I have no regrets at all about leaving Sunderland.”
