Dean Saunders insists Chris Brown is staying at Doncaster Rovers Football Club.
The 26-year-old striker is battling back from a knee injury, and he has been linked with a loan move to Crewe Alexandra in a bid to boost his fitness levels.
However, Rovers boss Saunders insists Brown will remain at the Championship side, although he has not discussed a potential temporary exit.
"He's trying to get himself right and play for us," he said. "We have not discussed it with him. We're just seeing how he looks in training.
"We're disappointed he pulled out of the reserves on Tuesday, but he trained on Thursday. Hopefully, it's one of those injuries that swells up and goes down again."
