Kightly happy to extend Watford stay
Michael Kightly is only too happy to extend his stay at Watford Football Club.
The 25-year-old is under contract at Wolverhampton Wanderers, but Mick McCarthy sent him to the Hornets last month so he can build up his fitness.
Kightly has endured a torrid couple of seasons with injury, so he is only too pleased to have now extended his stay at Vicarage Road until early January.
"I didn't play the number of games I'd like to have done last month, so it's great to have the chance to put that right first of all," Kightly told the club's official website.
"I've been impressed with the club as a whole; everyone works hard and is pulling in the same direction, which you don't always get I know from talking to players elsewhere.
"I've got more to give, though. I'm feeling great now, thanks to the medical staff here, and I want to keep contributing to the team's development and achievements."
